01
Take the state-required classroom portion online at your own pace. While I do not teach the online course directly, I have personally vetted it to ensure it meets Texas requirements and properly prepares you for the next steps. You will receive your LTC-104 certificate upon completion.
02
Schedule your handgun proficiency qualification (shooting test) with a certified instructor. Bring your LTC-104 certificate so the instructor can sign off on your proficiency. If you are in the DFW area, I can assist you directly. If not, I can help point you in the right direction.
03
Apply through the Texas DPS handgun licensing website. Upload your LTC-104 certificate, submit your application, and follow the instructions for fingerprinting. Once approved, your Texas License to Carry will be mailed to you.
Attention: Ages 18 to 20
Texas adults ages 18–20 who are otherwise eligible may apply for an LTC following a federal court decision in Andrews v. McCraw (2022).
A DPS-approved course that I have personally taken, vetted, and stand behind. Get your LTC-104 certificate from anywhere in Dallas, on any device.
No hidden costs. Instant access.
Many people complete the LTC process and still don’t feel ready to carry in everyday life. That’s because the course is designed to meet state requirements — not to build real-world comfort and decision-making. That’s the gap I help fill.
If you want more than just a license, I offer coaching designed to help you:
Coaching is available by phone, Zoom, or in person (DFW area).
Personalized guidance on real-world carry, holsters, legal questions, and gun handling.
Custom training for individuals or groups anywhere in Texas. Travel available.
During my years as a court bailiff and security officer, I worked closely with Judge
Ronald E. Kunz of the West Jordan Justice Court. After two years of working
alongside him, he wrote this letter of recommendation about my character and
work ethic.
